Hearing Loop Systems and Installations for New England

Shanahan sells, designs and installs hearing loop systems to help New England facilities meet the needs of their hearing impaired patrons. We are proud to be one of the first companies in New England to develop specialized hearing loop expertise.

A hearing loop is like a wireless network for hearing aids. An inductive wire loop transmits sound signals from a microphone, speaker or public address system directly to telecoil-equipped hearing aids or cochlear implants. The telecoil, or t-coil, functions as an antenna, relaying sounds directly into the ear without background noise.  Learn more about hearing loops.
